Amity 13U starts the Fall Ball season strong with a 12-4 win over Naugatuck

Pitching, hitting and defense all were working Saturday morning as the Amity 13 team defeated Naugatuck 12-4. Evan Jurzyk took the mound and set the tone with a 1-2-3 first inning with 2 strike outs. Evan pitched 3 innings and gave up 3 runs. Miles Turner and Ryan Nuzzo each pitched 2 innings each to complete the 7 inning affair. 9 hits in this one with Jake Williams and Eric Tudino hitting solid doubles. Ethan Kaempffer went 3-3. Jayson Hutchinson and Eric Tudino went 2-3. Miles Turner also had a had base hit down the 3rd base line. The boys played solid defense communicating and making the correct play. Great job by all.
